GXP International is a sole proprietorship started by Teri Stokes, Ph.D. in March 1996. Corporate policy and computer validation for large, multi-national projects (SAP, LIMS, CDMS, AEMS) are major themes of the business with on-the-job training for clients as part of every delivery.

From 1979 to 1996, Dr. Stokes held management positions focused on pharmaceutical and biotech R&D systems at Digital Equipment Corporation. She established DEC's computer validation services in Europe 1990-1995 from DEC's consulting center in Basel, Switzerland. Prior to DEC, Dr. Stokes worked 12 years as a Medical Technologist (M.T. ASCP) in various university, hospital and central laboratories in Massachusetts.
